Used to work at a Datsun dealer in Sydney from 1965 till 1971 as a lube attendant then apprentice mechanic, it was a very exciting time for Datsun, one I will never forget. The Cedrics of the time were not well loved but were a work of art, its great to see one again.

PS Would love to see it when next I am in Brisbane

Hello Planet Cedric

Your site is fantastic. It contains a lot of useful information regarding the cedric nissan model. My dad owns a Cedric that he wanted to destroy because my mother thought it was a "waste". However, he didn't and he needs to fix it. We are planning to sell it. It's a 1966 nissan cedric and it's been sitting in the same place for 12 years. We are going to send you pictures once we clean a bit. Great pictures, add more info about the nissan cedric.

Greetings from Central America.

Hi there.  I saw the story in today's Adelaide Advertiser and found your site.  Congratulations on the beautiful restoration of the Cedric.  We had one in Keith SA in the '60's when I was growing up. (White '64 model 31 series with green trim - I think).  I don't have any restoration skills sadly but I live in hope of finding a completed car one day.  I have several cars including a Lamborghini and a Porsche but I dream of a Cedric!

Best wishes with yours.

I forgot to say today; congratulations on the restoration. Its a credit to your skills and the car looks great.
When you're ready to trade up to a President I know where there is an original one just sitting around waiting for a restoration.

It is great to see that someone out there has an interest in early Datsuns. I live in Southern Africa and we have early Datsuns here although they are being ignored as collectors items and spares are almost impossible to find.
